Refund Policy

Why we cannot offer refunds

Save The Breath Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation. Every donation we receive is committed to programme work — school fees, medicines, meals, teaching materials, relief kits — often within days of arriving. Once those funds are deployed in the field on behalf of a child or family, they cannot be recovered or returned.

For this reason, all donations to Save The Breath Foundation are final, irrevocable and non-refundable in any case whatsoever.

This applies to all donations

• One-time donations of any amount, made online or offline.
• Recurring or monthly donations, including every instalment already collected.
• Donations made towards a specific project, campaign or appeal.
• Corporate, CSR and institutional contributions.
• Donations in kind, including goods, materials and equipment.

Please donate carefully

• Check the amount and the currency before you confirm your donation.
• Make sure your name, email address, phone number and PAN are entered correctly so we can issue your receipt and 80G certificate.
• If you are unsure which programme to support, contact us before donating and our team will guide you.

Duplicate or technical transactions

The only exception we can consider is a verified technical error — for example, the same donation charged twice by the payment gateway, or an amount debited without any donation being recorded. Write to us within 7 days of the transaction with the payment reference and we will investigate with the gateway. Resolution in such cases depends entirely on the payment provider and is not a refund of a donation.

Cancelling a recurring donation

You can stop a monthly or recurring donation at any time by writing to us. Cancellation stops all future instalments. It does not refund instalments that have already been collected.

Tax receipts

Because donations are non-refundable, 80G tax exemption receipts issued against them remain valid and are not reversed. Receipts are sent to the email address provided at the time of donation.

Your support is a commitment

When you give to Save The Breath Foundation, a child is enrolled, a health camp is stocked, a family is fed. We account for every rupee and publish our registrations and certificates openly. By donating, you confirm that you have read and accepted this no-refund policy.
